The quality of wood-based panel is not up to stand

  • Detail

Wood based panel is an indispensable decorative material for home decoration. In order to further standardize and rectify the plate Market in our city and guide consumers to buy reassuring plates, recently, the Inspection Bureau of the Bureau of quality and technical supervision,

supervised and inspected the quality of plywood, decorative veneer veneered plywood, particleboard and other products produced and sold. The results showed that some products had the following problems to varying degrees:

first, the bonding strength and surface bonding strength did not meet the standard, and the moisture content and formaldehyde exceeded the standard

bonding strength and surface bonding strength are important performance indicators. If these two indicators fail to meet the standard requirements, the product will cause delamination, blistering or cracking of the plate during use, making the plate unusable. The high moisture content determines the key to the product transformation of plywood and decorative veneer veneered plywood. The national standard requires that the moisture content is no more than 6%, but the inspection results show that the moisture content of some products is more than twice that specified in the standard

in addition, the release of free formaldehyde is an indicator to measure the amount of formaldehyde gas released by board products. At present, most adhesives used for plywood contain free formaldehyde, and the residual free formaldehyde that does not participate in the reaction in the plate will be gradually released to the surrounding environment. When the content of free formaldehyde in the air exceeds a certain concentration, it will stimulate human nasal mucosa, retina, respiratory tract, internal organs, nervous system, etc., and long-term inhalation will cause toxic reactions, causing various pathological changes and allergic reactions. At present, the national standard stipulates that the free formaldehyde emission of MDF is less than 70mg/100g, and that of particleboard is less than 50mg/100g. Although there is no clear regulation on plywood, it is enough to show that excessive formaldehyde will cause great harm to human health

second, the State Administration of Quality Supervision announced that the issuance of production licenses for plywood, particleboard, medium density fiberboard, decorative veneer veneered wood-based panel, impregnated plastic film paper facing wood-based panel, bamboo floor and other six products in wood-based panel has ended, and the production and sales of unlicensed products have been investigated since July 1, 2005. After investigation, most of the above-mentioned wood-based panels produced and sold in our city have not obtained the production license, but continue to produce and sell

in order to guide consumers to better purchase qualified plates, relevant experts remind consumers to master the following points when purchasing:

1. Plywood should have clear grain, bright and smooth front, not rough, and flat. The texture should be consistent, such as cloud pattern, wind pattern, rope pattern, landscape pattern, etc

2. The plywood shall be free of damage, collision, insect residue, nail holes, dead joints, burrs, grooves and other defects

3. The joint of plywood should be tight without uneven phenomenon. In particular, do not have two different lines on a piece of plywood, otherwise it will hinder rational use, cause waste, and affect the beauty of furniture

4. When selecting splints, attention should be paid to selecting splints that do not loose glue. A 50cm wooden stick can be used to lift the plywood and gently tap each part. The inner plate with uniform and crisp sound is basically the inner plate. If the mute sound of "shell" is emitted, it is likely to be an internal quality problem caused by degumming or bubbling. This kind of board can only be used as lining board or top and bottom board, not as fabric

5. Generally, there are grade marks on the surface corners of formal plywood for reference. Please pay attention when selecting

the grade marks of domestic plywood are: (first-class), (second-class), (third-class) and (extra). The grade marks of imported plywood are "AA", "BB", "CC" and "DD" respectively, indicating grade one, grade two, grade three and grade four. If only "B", "C" and "d" are marked on the board surface, it is plywood produced in Romania. If there is no mark, it is likely to be bubbling or degumming plate; In addition, plywood is a product subject to production license management implemented by the state. The product and instruction manual should have a production license number marked as xk03 - XXX - XXXX. XK represents license 03 represents industry number XXX represents product number XXXX represents production license number
